There were a few tears, some cheers, a LOT of laughter, and so much fun had by all! You can read a review written by Jeannie Crumly and scroll through photos of the performance below!

Bravo To 'Calendar Girls' - Jeannie Crumly, Page, Nebraska
Bravo to the cast and crew of Calendar Girls, the North Central Nebraska Arts Council summer show. Once again, you hit it out of the park, or off the stage, or out of the gym. What is one to say when a group of amateur, summer thespians manage to keep their audience in stitches for the entire play?
From the opening notes, carried by the lovely pipes of Reagan Roessler, to the final bows, the audience was charmed, entertained, and touched by the quality of the performance, as well as the substance beneath the laughter.
Kendra and Bekah remind me of the old truth...sometimes 1+1=2, but sometimes it is
11. The two of you make 11 or more. Katie and Luke played that their parts so well and added substance to the play. Jordan Schneider, you have really come into your own. You totally nailed your character, accent and all. Dayna Sharp, welcome to the stage. Your multiple parts were played equally well.

Michael Poese, when are we going to hear even more of that terrific voice? Have you ever considered a radio gig? Jennifer Brown and Pam Jakubowski are no strangers to the summer productions. Their performances are solid and help round out the story with their humor.
Savannah Morrow makes a powerful presence on stage and together with Chase Harrison creates just what the program promises, " ...an accurate depiction of the human experience."

Thanks to all the cast and crew who gave so generously of their time and considerable talents to delight and inspire us once again. The sound quality of this show was the first perfect sound production I have ever experienced, despite issues with lack of speakers and struggles with reliable equipment.
Imagine what could be with an updated system. Additionally, the nod to the efforts in the ongoing battle with cancer brought a depth to this year's
performance that I greatly appreciated.
Trust that I will be there again next summer to once again enjoy your efforts. I encourage everyone to join me in celebrating and supporting our local arts council not only with our presence but our financial support, as well.
